Included in this list of recent U.S. hotel conversions:
• The Trump Organization intends to convert the Old Post Office Building in Washington, D.C. into the 250-plus-room Trump International Hotel, The Old Post Office, Washington, D.C.
• The 774-room Helmsley in New York, which is going through a US$65-million renovation, is being converted into the Westin New York at Times Square.
• The 520-room Marriott Renaissance in Phoenix was formerly the Wyndham Phoenix.
