• The 203-room Embassy Suites Chattanooga in Tennessee broke ground 18 April.
• The Courtyard by Marriott/TownePlace Suites by Marriott hotels in Lakewood, Washington, are expected to open during the fourth quarter of 2013.

• The Value Place in Williston, North Dakota, broke ground on 13 September.
• Construction on the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel & Conference Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa, is expected to be complete by the summer of 2012.
